Our garments are hand-painted and heat-set so your design holds up through regular washing. Follow the steps below to keep your piece looking its best.
How do I wash my Third Wolf garment?
Machine wash cold. This applies to all of our products — bamboo, organic cotton/RPET blend shirts, hoodies, and tanks.
Will the paint fade when I wash it?
No. Every garment is hand-painted and then heat-set — by heat presses — which bonds the paint to the fabric. The heat-setting process is what allows the item to be washed without the paint fading.
Can I put it in the dryer?
- Bamboo shirts & tanks: Tumble dry on low.
- All styles: You can also hang dry for best results.
What happens if I don't wash cold or dry on the correct setting?
Nothing dramatic will happen to your garment. Over time, however, the crispness of the paint may fade and some of the shimmer may diminish. Following our care instructions gives your piece the longest life.
Will my garment shrink?
No. Pre-shrinking is part of our painting process — it's what allows the paint to properly bind to the fabric. Because your garment is already pre-shrunk, it will not shrink further once you receive it.
